This post was originally written on January 7. But I never got the pictures onto it. Believe it or not, I am spending most of my time with the kids. :)
Is it really January? Last week it was in the teens and we had over a foot of snow accumulation. Now it's in the 50's. Well, even if it's the herald of the global warming apocalypse, I'm not complaining.
Today, Simon showed us how to make paper boats. Keziah thought it would be great to paint them with watercolors. And it was my bright idea for us to walk to the park and sail them. Now, some brilliant homeschool mom might find a way to tie in some sort of fancy-schmancy science lesson on currents or buoyancy. Not me. We just sailed some boats and had some fun.

What fantastic weather we had then! Now -- snow, snow and more snow, huh?
Looking forward to reading your adventures!

I get cold just seeing that little bare foot in the snow! lol! It looks like you are off to a great year.
Happy Day!

PS I love your son's idea for the name of your blog! haha! I would use it, because you will find that sometimes homeschooling is wonderful and sometimes it sucks, just like everything else in life!
For some reason I have not been able to leave messages on this blog. I wanted to tell you that I think your son's suggestion for the name of the bog is great! LOL! You will no doubt find that while homeschooling is the best thing you ever did, there are days when it sucks, just like everything else in life!
Happy Times!
